Some people buy birds and chicks and others just watch birds fly through the air.
These are large and long-legged and long-necked birds of the order Gruiformes, and to the family Gruidae. These craetures unlike the similar-looking but unrelated herons, cranes fly with necks outstretched, not pulled back. Most have elaborate and noisy courting displays or "dances".
