The weight of the animals ranges from twenty to fifty pounds. They have a bushy tail that is tipped with black. They are mostly gray colored, but some show rust or brown coloration. These are nocturnal animals that are most active at night though they also can hunt during the daytime if they are not threatened by man they will hunt during the day.
