These chunky little birds are aprroximately eleven inches long with green bodies and bluish- gray heads. Birds of this species are also capable of speaking. The lack of bright coloration they substitute for some of the best pet qualities of any parrots. A dusky headed conure picture may be passed around to different breeders for evaluation.
