Red Throated Conure
A red throated conure is a favorite amongst collectors of pictures; the chick isn't as well-known because it's not as vibrant.
In the wild, parrots of this species can be found in the arid zones of western Ecuador and northwestern parts of Peru. They are rather good talkers and are easy to tame; these parrots can be very loud. They grow to up to 13 inches and weigh 5.8-6.5 ounces.
