Collie Dog Rescue
The collie dog rescue clubs will provide information on any available dog in rescues, along with training and health care.
There are nonprofit organizations that care for the homeless needy dogs until they are placed with new loving forever homes. The needy dogs of this breed are placed in temporary foster homes until a permanent home can be found. Volunteers provide shelter and care to purebred dogs, which have been abandoned or turned in to shelters.

Also called Rough Collie, Smooth Collie.
One of the major aims of such organizations is to place the dogs of this breed in the best possible permanent home to give them a second chance in life. Adopted dogs tend to make wonderful family pets and companions. Volunteers successfully place their dogs ranging in age from five weeks to nine years. Puppies are rare in shelters.
