Adoption Clydesdale
Horse adoption, clydesdale and other draft breeds included, do not usually deal with a foal, but an older adult horse and photos will be available.
This horse breed was developed by the farmers in Lanarkshire, Scotland. The horses were bred specially to meet the needs of the Lanarkshire farmers, who needed assistance in their heavy farm work. The horses were also used for heavy haulage in the streets of Glasgow.

These are handsome horses whose appearance gives an impression of weight, substance, and strength. Bay, black, brown, chestnut, and roan are the usual colors of these horses, the bay color being the most common. The horses have four white socks, and a white face.
