The Clumber Spaniels are about 16-20 inches (41-51 cm.) high and weigh about 55-85 pounds (25-39 kg.) These hounds may be submissive urinators when they are puppies. They were used for hunting hounds and nowadays they are also used as hunters though more often as pets and companions.

These hounds are excellent hunters and they prefer to hunt for pheasant and partridges, take naturally to retrieving, and are good water hounds. These creatures are well known chewers and you should have good chew toys otherwise these hounds can easily spoil your furniture.
