Chow Group Rescue
A chow group rescue club will take all ages of dog from puppies to adult dogs.
Once you contact a shelter for the profiles of the dogs for adoption, you need to ask a few questions concerning the characteristics of the dogs. Shelters do not always have purebred dogs. As a rule, they are adult crosses, yet puppies and purebreds also occur.

Ask yourself if you are ready to handle such a dominant breed. These dogs are protective and do not do well with pets of the same sex, so you may need to change your mind if you happen to have other pets in the household already.
