The chow chow is not a breed of dog usually found in a rescue kennel.
This is a medium-sized dog that comes in two coat varieties. Smooth-coated dogs require only a few brushing sessions a week except when the dog is shedding seasonally. Rough-coated dogs are more difficult to care for as they need daily brushing.
