These hounds are very compact and well balanced; the chest of the hound is very deep; the bones are moderate and flexible. The coat should be tawny or golden fawn colored. The coat is actually double and the outer coat should be coarse while the undercoat is thick, soft, and downy in texture. The chinook dog kennel will have a picture of any available dogs.
