Chihuahua Picture Teacup
As may be seen in a chihuahua picture, teacup puppies are extremely tiny, so a kennel should carefully treat them.
There is no such a breed as miniature or tiny, the only difference that is possible in this breed is based on the coat length. Though sometimes very small dogs of less than 1 lbs can occur, it is not a type of dogs, but a freak of nature. These dogs stand 6-9 inches high, and weigh 2-6 pounds. They have very delicate bodies, and are extremely vulnerable to fractures. They should not be trusted with large animals or young children, who may accidentally injure such a tiny and fragile dog.

Being very small, these dogs are much heartier than their size suggests. Some of these animals have a soft spot on the head, the same as in human babies. It is a normal condition for this breed and doesn’t mean hydrocephalia, as some vets may think. These dogs are relatively healthy, and their average life span is 15-17 years. They are prone to cold and often wheeze and snore. On cooler days, they appreciate a warm sweater, and they should be warmed and dried after a walk on a rainy day. They do well indoors and do not need a large yard. As may be seen in a chihuahua picture, teacup puppies are extremely tiny, so a kennel should carefully treat them.
