Dogs Chihuahua
Of the smaller dogs, chihuahua breeds are the only naturally small breed; they can be viewed on photos sites featuring dogs.
These animals make ideal pets for the elderly and single people and thrive in families with children, if the children are taught not to play rough with animals. It is not wise to introduce this breed to a family with small children. This breed is rather shy, but protective of the owner. It doesn’t do well with other animals and is very suspicious to the strangers and guests. These creatures should be socialized from the early age and need basic obedience training.

These canines are long-lived, their life expectancy being 15-17 years on the average. They stand 6-9 inches high at the withers and weigh 2-6 pounds. Purebred dogs rarely suffer from hereditary diseases, but are sensitive to cold and can be prone to wheezing breath. This breed is also susceptible to rheumatism. These dogs have very delicate bones and hence are prone to fractures and dislocations. For this reason, this breed is no great option for families with small children or larger animals.
