Hairless Chihuahua
The hairless chihuahua is unusual and it is hard to find kennels that raise these dogs; they can be viewed online on most rare dog photo sites.
Such dogs existed in China, Africa, and Turkey. They were possibly the ancestors of the modern toy breed together with the Techichi dogs, which were selected and worshipped by the Toltecs. There are no such a differentiation within the breed today. The only differentiation is based on the coat length: there exist smoothcoats and longcoats. The standard for the breed is rather wide: the weight varies from 2 to 6 pounds, the size should be proportioned and every coat color and pattern is permissible.
