The head of this breed is well-rounded and named “apple-dome,” the ears are large, erect and flaring to the sides; the eyes are dark, large and wide-set. To lubricate such large eyes tears are produced in abundance; they may fly from the animal’s face. This is the most fragile animal on earth, and it is susceptible to fractures and dislocations. Puppies usually have a molera – an unclosed section of the skull, and in some species it remains unclosed for life time. Therefore, head injuries are mortally dangerous for these canines.
