Chihuahua Dog Name

Learn where the chihuahua dog name comes from, view photo albums, and get advice on training. The breed appeared in Europe in the 19th century and was called after the state in Mexico there it had been found. The breed is very ancient; it originated probably in the 9th century and the Aztecs and Toltecs tribes worshipped it. Today, the myth of a teacup breed exists in public. It is true that these dogs are the smallest in the world and the only natural toy breed, but there is no division into “miniature” and “usual” species. Very small dogs sometimes happen like in any other species. Learn where the chihuahua dog name comes from, view photo albums, and get advice on training.

They come in various colors and can be of two types: long-coated and short-coated. These dogs have fragile skeletons, and are prone to fractures and dislocations.
