The chihuahua mini sale will sometimes include information on training and have photos of past champions of the bloodline.
Some breeders claim they raise only teacup or pocket-size puppies of this breed. If you want to own such a dog you should not believe this trick used to attract the potential buyers and sell puppies at a very high price. There is no such a type as teacup or tiny within the breed; very small puppies are born sometimes in the same litter with “normal” ones. Small individuals are often premature and have not fully developed. They need special care and are very fragile.

Such puppies are born occasionally together with their normal littermates. They are actually premature and are not fully developed; they are likely to have genetic disorders and often die in puppyhood. They are susceptible to orthopedic diseases and usually have poorly developed muscular system. If these dogs survive the puppyhood, they make rather hardy and long-lived animals, but they require special vet care and should be handled with great caution. They should not be trusted with larger dogs or small kids, who may pose danger to them.
