These animals weigh about 80-140 pounds as adults and are about 32 inches tall at the shoulder and inhabit the area from North Africa to India though they are also found in sub-Saharan Africa (south of the Sahara Desert). These cats are very good hunters and hunt on the territory with bushes and tall grass.

This is one of the oldest cats that have been originated about 4,000,000 years ago. Long ago the cat was on throughout Asia, Africa, Europe and North America.
