Mutt
The mutt or mixed breed dog is usually the dog most commonly found in a rescue kennel.
These dogs come in all shapes and sizes. Their temperament greatly varies. In order to determine what appearance and temperamental traits a pup will have, look at its parents. Grooming requirements widely vary, although all dogs will benefit from at least an occasional brushing.

It is highly probable that these dogs first originated in Eurasia, between 12000-14000 year ago. They might have originated on a southern strain of a Gray Wolf called, Canis Lupus Pallipes. The coat comes in a wide variety of coat colors. It was distributed throughout Europe, North America, and Asia. The mutt or mixed breed dog is usually the dog most commonly found in a rescue kennel.
