These cats occur in a variety of colors, such as Seal Point, Blue Point, Chocolate Point, Tortie Point, Flame Point, Cream Point, Blue Cream Pont and Lilac Point. Actually, these are Siamese color variations. These animals also feature blue eyes.

Originally, this breed and the Persian one were referred to as separate breeds, but in 1980 the CFA unified them, and now this is the name of a color variety rather than the name of a breed. It is even possible to interbreed the two in order to produce valuable Persians.
