This cat has a stocky body build, characterized by large head, short and thick paws and low gait. The ears are rounded and set low on the head. They are frequently referred to as Persians, and it is admissible to crossbreed them with purebred Persians.

Some people mistakenly regard the cat as a mix of a Siamese and a Persian. The Siamese gene does figure in the cat’s gene makeup, but it was only on the initial stage that it was added to the pool.
