These cats are considered to be color-pointed Persians. Until the 1980s, this breed was considered to be a separate one due to its specific Siamese coloration. It was produced in the 1950s by introducing a Siamese to a blue Persian. Himalayan persian cats can be obtained from a breeder or adopted from rescues.
