In the 1920, there were attempts to produce a species, which would feature a Persian appearance and a Siamese coloration, but it was not until the 1950s that the project succeeded. This new breed had the appearance and character of a Persian, and the color pattern of a Siamese.

These cats have loud voice and sapphire blue eyes. They occur in many varieties of color, including those of the Siamese, Balinese and Javanese. They were bred exclusively for home life, and therefore they are poor street dwellers, because they get lost easily. Himalayan odyssey cat looks excellent in the photo.
