Nowadays, Siamese are never used in breeding these cats. A Siamese species was used only once, and that was back in the 1950s, and later on all breeding project lay in crossbreeding of the offsprings. Thus was produced a Persian cat with a Siamese coloration and distinctive blue eyes. The himalayan times sometimes contain information on registered breeders with photo galleries of their animals.
