California Spangled
California spangled cats should be bought from a responsible breeder.
These are large, well-muscled cats with long bodies and a "wild," low-slung gait. They have prominent cheekbones and pale, well-developed whisker pads. These cats have spotted tabby coat is shorthaired, with slightly longer fur on the tail and underbelly; the whole expression of the cat is that of a wild animal.

California Spangled -
cats, breeder
The breed was developed in the 1980s by a California breeder who was determined to create a domestic breed to mimic endangered spotted wildcats. The breeding program included such breeds as a British Shorthair, an American Shorthair, a feral cat from Cairo, a spotted Manx, and a Siamese. California spangled cats should be bought from a responsible breeder.
