Cairns Terriers
Most cairns terriers are not acquired through a rescue, but can sometimes be found in their photos.
The dog is known as vermin destroyer, hunting dog and now as a family pet. It is rather small though is very strong and brave. Its height is 28-31 cm (11-12¼ inches) tall and it weighs about 6-7,5 kg (13¼ - 16½ lb).

The coat is double-layered, the topcoat is hard and profuse and the closer to the body is soft and short. The hair must not curl and the color of the coat may be: grey, wheat, cream-red, or almost black but not white or totally black. Most cairns terriers are not acquired through a rescue, but can sometimes be found in their photos.
