American Breed Bulldog
The american breed bulldog can be obtained either from a kennel or from a rescue.
There are two types of these dogs - the Bully type and the Standard type. They differ in appearance a little and are usually judged accordingly. Thus, Bully type dogs should stand about 22-26 inches at the shoulder, whereas the Standard type dogs are about 23-27 inches. Females are usually smaller than males. The dogs have a short coat that is easy to groom and is OK with regular brushing. They should be supplied with a lot of physical and mental stimulation and should receive early socialization and training.

This breed is known not only for its weird appearance, which is considered to be the acme of canine selection, but also for its calm and dignified personality. These dogs are not vocal and get on well with strangers, children and other pets. This breed is well suited for an apartment. It doesn’t need much exercise; a daily short walk is enough for these dogs to keep fit. Being couch potatoes, these dogs still retain some features of their ancestors.
