These are intelligent and easily trainable dogs and they require an experienced owner as they can be aggressive when wrongly socialized and trained. With proper training, these dogs are very tolerant, self-assured and protective, without aggression towards humans and other dogs. These dogs are known as coach potatoes and you need not to walk with them for long hours. This breed is ideal for lazy-bones. Although large and powerful, these dogs should be kept indoors, as they are not adapted to cold and heat. Puppies are very playful and active, but adult dogs make poor companions for sport.
