Bull terriers are carried by a fair number of breeders; some people may make rescues while others may prefer getting some background knowledge on the animal. Originally, these dogs were supposed to be white in color, but Ted Lyon worked toward the acceptance of the brindle color. Nowadays, colored species are acceptable for shows in the same way as are white dogs, although whites are still more preferable.
