The american bull pic pit terrier is a strong, adept animal; it is not the target of many rescues at kennels because of it's brutish appearance.
These are very powerful and intelligent dogs that come from the breeds previously used in pit-fighting. Currently, the UKC recognizes the breed. They are muscular, agile, and are described as determined and suspicious towards strangers and other pets.
