In order to develop a good species, it is important to properly build a genetic line. It needs to choose cocks and hens of a certain type and monitor progenies, keeping track of changes and tendencies. Generating hybrids is not recommended, because they have disqualifying faults. A bird breeder would have an abundace of birds, or would be able to help you find one bird in particular.
