Brittany Spaniel
The brittany spaniel is a popular hunting dog and is not usually found in dog rescues, but is easily found through a breeder kennel.
This sporting dog is well suited for hunting the hare, partridge, and other small game for it is versatile and can retrieve game from water. They are easy to transport due to their medium size. Adult dogs are about 17-20 inches in height and about 30-40 pounds in weight.

They are not recommended for apartment living as they are very active indoors and need much room to exercise. They are best with a backyard where they can play a lot. The breed is prone to roaming, so train the dog well to make sure it obeys your commands.
