There are many hounds of this very breed that are rescued. The reasons these hounds end up in rescues can be the following: the family could not find time for the hound any more, and their expectations turned out different from what they got with a hound.

Also, these hounds’ owners’ living conditions could have changed. Anyway the hounds need care and attention even more than other hounds.
