Border Collie Resuce
The border collie resuce will educate breeders with a photo and educational materials.
There are a number of volunteer non-profit organizations, which accept the dogs of this breed from owners, shelters, and other rescuers. Needy dogs are 1 to 3 years old, on the average. Puppies are rare guests in shelters. All dogs are spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated and heartworm free.

Some dogs can have a very vague background, since they have been found as strays in the streets. A veterinary screening for hip dysplasia and other serious health issues is included in the program of medical care for the dogs. All needy dogs are also temperament tested.
