Border Collie Rescues
Border collie rescues will care for puppies and adult dogs and supply a photo to potential adopters.
Such organizations are finding homes for stray, abandoned or unwanted dogs of this breed. Volunteers who work there are concerned with the growing number of surrendered dogs. Their purpose is to take in the stray and the unwanted dogs of this herding breed and find them homes where they will be loved and properly cared for.

All needy dogs available for adoption are spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and made current on vaccinations. Shelter dogs are health and temperament tested. Sometimes, the needy dogs are also microchipped. While the dogs are in foster homes, they are housetrained, and taught their basic manners.
