Sphynx

The sphynx cat can be viewed on sites that feature pictures submitted by the sphynx cat breeder. These unique cats originated as a spontaneous mutation in 1966. Hairless cats were found all over the world, giving rise to this unique breed. To create healthy cats with a large gene pool, breeders crossed hairless cats to normal partners and then back. These cats are not always hairless; they may have fine down on the body, which makes the cat feel like a peach. Light hair is often present on the nose, toes and tail. Any color and pattern is accepted in this breed. The sphynx cat can be viewed on sites that feature pictures submitted by the sphynx cat breeder.
