Bobcat Fact

Look through the bobcat fact sheet and a photo gallery and find a picture of the species in the wild. These animals look much like Canadian lynx. They have compact skulls coupled with long canine teeth. They are medium sized cats with a ruff of fur around the sides of the face. They begin breeding at 1 year of age, normally in late winter or early spring. Two to four kittens are born after a gestation period of about 62 days. Look through the bobcat fact sheet and a photo gallery and find a picture of the species in the wild.

Also called Red Lynx.

Solitary hunters, they prey mostly on small mammals such as rabbits and rodents. This species has binocular vision, which enables these animals to focus on swiftly running prey. They have sharp claws, which are retractable. It allows this animal to approach their prey more quietly. Look through the bobcat fact sheet and a photo gallery and find a picture of the species in the wild.
