Australian Blue Heeler Dog

An Australian blue heeler dog has at least one puppy per litter, but normally has between 2-5 puppies. The body is slightly longer than tall, compact and well balanced. The back is strong and the chest is muscular; the ribs are well sprung, the shoulders are strong, sloping, and muscular. The coat is double and comes in cobalt, cobalt mottled or cpbalt speckled with or without black, cobalt or tan markings on head. The coat is double and the undercoat is shorter than the outer coat. This breed is a cross of many other breeds and the Dalmatian and Kelpie bloods were added around 1840.
