The typical color patterns for these dogs are black and tan, liver and tan, and red; white spots are allowed on the chest, feet and tail. These animals have large head with a wrinkled face and pronounced lips. The ears are long and hang freely. A bloodhound breed is a challenge for a kennel who raises these dogs.
