Black Bears
Black bears look cuddly in a picture especially as babies, but in truth are not.
This species is found in North America only, ranging from Mexico to Alaska. The Canadian population has remained the same as it was before the European settlers, but in several states of the USA this species is extinct or endangered due to habitat destruction and excessive hunting.

Black Bears -

There exist 16 subspecies of these animals, varying slightly in color, appearance and DNA. These animals are omnivores, preferring succulent vegetation and fish, but they also may eat small mammals if manage to catch them. Often they look for food in garbage dumps or eat carrion.
