Females have naturally smaller horns. The hooves of the animals are hard on the outside and soft on the inside making it an excellent climber and jumper. The animals are distributed in California in alpine meadows and foothills near rocky cliffs in the Okanagan, Similkameen and south Chilcotin regions.
