Bighorn desert sheep look rather graceful in the photos, but taking their photo in the wild can be difficult. The scientific name of the species is Ovis Canadensis. Nowadays, the population of these animals is extremely low due to excessive hunting at the beginning o the 20th century. This species is a good indicator of land health because it is sensitive to many human-induced environmental problems.
