Bernese Hound

The breed was originated in Switzerland; it is also known under the name: Schweizerischer Laufhund. These dogs are 30 to 55 cm (11.8-21.7 in) high and weigh 15 to 20 kg (33 to 44 lb). The breed is related to Scendthounds group.

Common misspellings are bermese hound, bernese dogs, bernise hound, bermise hound, bermiese hound, bernease hound, bearnaise hound, bernese hound dog, bernese hound dogs, bernese hounddog.
The body of the dog is longer than tall; the head is also long and cleanly cut. The skull is narrow, domed; the ears are set on low, narrow, pendulous, folded and twisted, rounded at the tip.
