Endangered Species Bengal Tiger
An endangered species, bengal tiger cat is rarely found at a rescue.
There are only about 3000 animals of this species left in the world and about 500 of them live in captivity. There are several reasons why the population of these animals continues to decrease. The main one is habitat destruction. As woods are cut out and swamps are dried, their prey has to leave the place and suddenly they have no prey to chase. This causes them to either die or leave the place, or raid domestic cattle and even humans.

Endangered Species Bengal Tiger -
cat, rescue
Forests are converted into agricultural lands and predators cannot find enough prey, because they compete with people for it. Poaching still exists, although killing these animals and trading in their body parts are illegal. Population fragmentation weakens the gene pool of the species and causes them to inbreed. As a result, wild animals go down with new diseases, and some of them become dangerously unpredictable in terms of behavior. The number of reported attacks against domestic cattle and humans has increased over the past few years. An endangered species, bengal tiger cat is rarely found at a rescue.
