These are regal and beautiful animals and they are the biggest of the cats’ class. They are predators and they are solitary animals. They usually have their own territories and they guard them selflessly. They do not let any of the other cats interfere in their territory. Males maintain home ranges that cover 25 to 250 square miles. They mark their territory by spraying urine and, most interesting, prefer not to fight.
