Bengal Forest Rain Tiger

If you are after a bengal forest rain tiger, you may buy a bengal cat at a breeder or adopt one from a rescue. The largest of the felines, they live in India, Nepal, Bhutan, Burma, and Bangladesh. They inhabit a great variety of habitats from swamps to deserts, but their population is continuously decreasing due to habitat destruction and lack of proper food. In early times, they were killed by Indian and British royalties for sport. Their body parts and whiskers are used in traditional Asiatic medicine, and having their pelts in possession is a matter of prestige and nobility. The biggest representatives of the breed are 3 meters long, with the tail 3 feet long. Their fur is usually orange-brown with black stripes, but white, albino or stripeless varieties are possible. They are very rare and are bred in captivity. These felids are fully grown at age of 2-3 years. Males reach 200-230 kg in weight, and females weigh about 130-170 kg. These animals come in orange-brown with dark strips all over the body; they have white bellies and white spots on the back of the ears. White species have blue, green or orange eyes. If you are after a bengal forest rain tiger, you may buy a bengal cat at a breeder or adopt one from a rescue.
