Males of these animals are up to 10 feet long. Females are a bit smaller; they are up to 9 feet long. The length of the tail is about 3 feet. Among ordinary animals of this type there are white individuals, but these felines are very rare in the wild. White animals usually have blue eyes and chocolate stripes; therefore, they are not albinos. It has been estimated that a white kitten is born per every 10,000 births. In the wild, their white coat makes them visible and they cannot hunt normally. These animals are susceptible to breeding depressions due to years of inbreeding.
