The animals can be very big, as long as a station wagon. Although they are viewed by many as vicious killers, they are shy of humans and never attack without a reason. However, it is better for humans not to come within their range, especially during mating seasons, when males can be very aggressive. Nursing tigresses are also wary of everything or everyone approaching their cubs.
