Bengal Royal Tiger
The bengal royal tiger breeders or a cattery are not commonly found.
Actually, these are solitary animals though during the mating season, they communicate with each other over long distances with a loud "aa-uuu-aa-uuu" roar, the emphasis being on the first syllable. Their ability to produce this sound is related to the arrangement of bones under the tongue. They actually can breed at any time of year, but they usually mate in winter or spring. Females become fully mature by 3 years of age. These animals are induced ovulators, and it takes several copulations for a tigress to become pregnant.

Bengal Royal Tiger -
breeders, cattery
The mating period lasts 20 to 30 days. If a female does not find a mate at the right time, she may come on heat again later. A tigress bears cubs only once every three-four years. In the north the gap is even more - only every four-five years. Gestation period lasts 103 days, and litters usually include 2-3 cubs. These animals are not monogamous, and males do not stay with the same female for a long time. They do not participate in rearing the cubs either, and females usually keep them away from the young. Nursing females display an increased aggression and can be particularly dangerous during this time. The bengal royal tiger breeders or a cattery are not commonly found.
