Such animals appear in the wild only once in a great while, because the gene for such coat color is recessive. Such animals differ from ordinary orange individuals in having blue eyes, pink nose and paw pads and creamy fur with chocolate stripes. Such cubs can only occur if both parents carry the recessive allele responsible for this color. In the wild, such animals are born only once per every 10,000 births. These animals are ill-suited for life in the wild and have a very low survival rate.
