These animals are naturally carnivorous and their diet varies according to locality. They prefer deer, wild pigs, young buffalo, young elephants and cattle in general, any prey over 100 pounds in weight. When driven by hunger they will eat almost anything: fowl, fish, lizards, frogs, crocodiles, carrion, or even humans. Humans should be particularly cautious when adventuring into places where these animals can be found. Males are usually aggressive during mating seasons, and it is better to stay away from nursing females who attack everything and everyone they believe can pose a threat to their young.
